Five star hotel, Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong has announced the appointment of Alan Wong as Financial Controller.
With over 30 years of experience in auditing and accounting in the hospitality sector, Alan will head up a team of 22 to provide financial guidance to the hotel’s operations in formulating and implementing business plans to drive profitability and enhance guest experience. “We are delighted that Alan has joined the team here. A seasoned professional in the industry, Alan’s substantial knowledge will lead the hotel’s financials aiming to increase productivity and output.” says Shaun Campbell, general manager of Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong. “We are confident that he will be a positive asset for the hotel.” Beginning his career as a front office agent, Alan joined the financial division in the hospitality sector and worked for various hotels under Regal Hotels International, including the Regal Airport Hotel, Regal Oriental Hotel and Regal Riverside Hotel in Hong Kong. Previous roles also include four years as Financial Controller in the industry in Mainland China. Alan obtained a Master of Finance from Curtin University, Australia. |
