Phuket, Thailand (February 13, 2015) - Regent Phuket Cape Panwa, the award-winning luxury resort in Panwa Beach, is proud to announce the appointment of Junya Ono as director of sales and marketing and Stefan Zich as director of food and beverage.

"With their extensive experience in the hospitality industry and strong focus on luxury hospitality and bespoke services, they will be valuable assets to Regent Phuket as the resort builds on its reputation for authentic and luxurious hospitality." A veteran of the hospitality industry, Ono brings more than 28 years of luxury hotels sales and marketing experience to his new role at the Regent Phuket Cape Panwa. He will be responsible for all aspects of leisure sales and marketing, international and domestic group business, as well as overseeing marketing, and generating revenue for the resort. He has progressed in his career through a series of appointments with upscale hotels in the region, including The Ritz Carlton Osaka, The Strings by InterContinental Tokyo, The Mandarin Oriental Bangkok and most recently the Hotel Okura Prestige Bangkok, where he was the Director of Sales & Marketing and oversaw the opening of the first Okura Hotel in Thailand. The resort's new director of food and beverage, Stefan Zich, will be responsible for ensuring the daily dining operations of the resort's six bars and restaurants. Zich joined the Regent family in 2010 when he was appointed the operations manager of food & beverage for Regent Berlin, which was ranked the third best hotel in Northern Europe in Condé Nast Traveller's 2011 "Readers Choice Awards." Zich's resume also includes quality industry experience as assistant food & beverage manager of the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains, Switzerland and Kempinski Pragelato Village Resort, Italy. He most recently worked with Six Senses Can Dao, the five star resort in Con Son Island, Vietnam as the director of food & beverage. His extensive knowledge of both the Regent brand and hotel food & beverage industry will ensure the highest services standards are maintained. |
