March 13, 2015, Mr. Qiaoyi, the founder and CEO of Hangzhou East Sunnet Science and Technology Co., Ltd which includes Veryeast.cn, 9first.com, meadin.com, jobbon.cn and m.medeen.net, visited Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre(CMECC) and Chiang Mai Night Safari.
Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai The fourth stop of the tour was Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai. Chinese people are familiar with this international brand. Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai not only transmits the concept “to create a homely atmosphere for all the guests” but also integrates the hospitality of Chiang Mai people into the hotel service.
The fifth stop of the tour was Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Opened in May 2013, Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre which cost 2.5 billion baht (500 million yuan) is one of the largest convention and exhibition center in Southeast Asia. 10 minutes drive from the main city of Chiang Mai, the CMECC with 10,000 seats has successfully hosted the 2nd Asia-Pacific Water Summit and Thailand Rice Convention.
Thai officials said that MICE tourism consumption was usually two or three times higher than the average tourist spending. The sixth stop of the tour was Chiang Mai Night Safari. After visiting to the CMECC, Mr. Qiaoyi and his colleagues were invited to visit Chiang Mai Night Safari, which is the best-known tourist attraction and family activities attraction in Chiang Mai and Asia. Located in Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai Night Safari occupies approximately 100 acres. In addition to the Night Tour, there are waterfall and lake. The tourists can overlook the entire city of Chiang Mai on top of the hill.
