Chinese hotel marketing service providers DirectBooking.cn, Amttnet.com and Medeen.net announced that they have entered into an agreement to merge into one entity that will become the "largest mobile internet hotel marketing platform in China". The new entity will operate under the brand of DirectBooking and serve more than 10,000 hotel clients, according to the company. Founder and CEO of DirectBooking.cn Yi Liu will serve as the consolidated company’s CEO after the merger. DirectBooking.cn introduced cloud computing technology to support online direct sale for hotels in China and is now serving 6,000 mid-ranged and upscale hotels, according to the company.
