Ms. Jane Sun, CEO of Ctrip, said during the company’s annual meeting on January 8 that Ctrip will achieve its one-trillion-yuan GMV goal by 2018, instead of 2020 as previously anticipated. “By then the company will be taking a step further to pursue another goal of achieving two-trillion-yuan GMV in three years,” said Ms. Sun. Ms. Sun also emphasized that Ctrip’s next step is to achieve internationalization. The company has established a leading position in the markets of China as well as the rest of Asia.
