The initiative allows customers of both the Group and HiApp to exchange reward points to take advantage of each other's membership benefits from December 1st, 2017 to December 31st, 2018. For example, users of HiApp can redeem the points they accumulated on the platform for HNA Hospitality's points to enjoy room upgrades or free stays. "Creating synergies through seamless collaboration between HNA Hospitality's lodging assets and other HNA untis has been a key part of our strategy as China's fast-growing travel market creates huge business opportunities," Steven Song, the President of HNA Hospitality Group said.
