Hotel vending machine producer MoBianLi told Lieyunwang.com that it has obtained RMB 12 million (USD 1.85 million) in a January angel round of financing from undisclosed investors. The funds will be used to develop production lines and IT technology. MoBianLi produces smart micro vending machines for adult products in hotel rooms. With an independent technical team, it has developed a management platform for hotel machines and the specific APP. It has also created a complete supply chain from producers to customers, backed by its own design patent, registered trademark, software copyright and physical factories. Co-founder Mr. Bing Zhang revealed that MoBianLi supplies franchisees with machines for RMB 500-600, while the average market price is RMB 900-1200. MoBianLi also facilitates the supply of various products for franchisees, and brands like Durex, Jissbon, Okamoto and Leten are authorized to be sold at cost. MoBianLi started its operation from this March, and has since provided over 13,000 machines for more than 700 hotels across dozens of cities including Qingdao, Yantai, Jinan, Beijing, Wuhan, Changsha, Chengdu, Xi'an, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Wuxi. The company is negotiating with a number of themed hotel chains to provide customized products. |
