Secret Escapes has landed another funding round - the second time in the space of eight months that it's secured a major investment. The members-only hotel booking club has secured £52 million from Old Mutual Global Investors. To date, it has raised $153 million over the course of nine rounds since 2011. The company claims to have achieved full-year profitability during 2018 and will use the latest investment to fund the overall growth of the business, especially the integration of its Slevomat brand, a Central and Eastern Europe-focused deals and experiences service. Secret Escapes now has a presence in 21 countries in Europe and Asia, as well as the United States.
