Trekksoft has made its second acquisition of 2018 with the buy out of Austrian tech provider for ski and other activity providers, Waldhart Software. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Waldhart specalizes in other parts of the tours and activities sector, alongside ski, including reservation and management tech for wellness centers, bike rental and other summer sport products. The core product is managing online bookings for over 300 ski school suppliers around the world. Managing director Hannes Waldhart and a team of 23 employees will remain with the business following completion of the acquisition. Trekksoft acquired DigiTickets - a U.K.-based attraction and event ticketing platform- in April this year. It was the first M&A activity for the Swiss since it bought Acteavo in 2015 and Myobis in 2016. Trekksoft has raised USD 3.4 million over the course of four rounds between 2013 and 2015.
