TravelgateX, a travel connectivity specialist, has acquired revenue management and business intelligence startup REVVA. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed but a statement from TravelgateX, which provides XML connections for travel suppliers, says that it wants to strengthen its business intelligence capabilities. It adds that by having more accurate insight will enable its travel supplier customers to make more informed decisions. REVVA, a Majorca-based startup, provides insight on yield, revenue and pricing to smaller companies such as tour operators, activities providers and destination management companies. The startup’s business intelligence platform will become part of TravelgateX’s product offering. The company was launched in late-2017. In the statement, Pedro Brücher Camara, CEO of TravelgateX says: "Revva fits perfectly into our product range. Business intelligence and revenue management is acquiring greater significance and importance on a daily basis."
