Vacation rental technology provider Hostfully has landed $1 million in seed funding. The round was led by Precursor Ventures with MergeLane, Wharton Alumni Angels, Blue Startups and Disruption Ventures also participating. Hostfully was founded in 2015 as a property management platform for vacation rental managers. The funding will go towards growing the team across sales, marketing and development. In early 2018, the company merged with Orbirentals, a fellow specialist in vacation rental management technology. Hostfully’s seed funding is reflective of the investor appetite around the wider alternative accommodation sector. In recent months, significant funding rounds have been announced for a number of players in the space including Selina’s $100 million Series C, Lyric’s $160 million Series B and Guesty’s $35 million raise. |
